For many years, Melbourne Nordic has run a Gear Sale and second hand exchange in the period leading up to the ski season. These used to be lively events wher members and non-members alike could pick up a bargain our sell on gear they no longer needed. With the increasing popularity of eBay, GumTree and other online sales sites, the poularity of this type of one-off event has  gradually declined. In response, we scaled back our sales, shifing from a standalone event to a gear sale conducted as part of our first club meeting (usually held in May). Last year, we tried thisand only one gear seller brought gear along. We have therefore decided to put this event on hold for the time being.

These days, we welcome members to bring gear along to meetings to sell. There is always plenty of time to socialise, buy ad sell at our meetings. If you are not a member and would like to come along with some second hand gear to sell, just let us know. If you do end up bringing gear along to sell, we will of course, do our best to sign you up as a club member! Busines is business, as they say.
