Welcome to the Melbourne Nordic Ski Club (MNSC) web site. We are based in Melbourne, the captal city of the state of Victoria in Australia. Our club is built around the activities of its members, who range from novice skiers to elite racers. Members participate in a broad range of ski activities including trail-skiing, snow-camping and back country skiing, telemarking, racing and ski orienteering. Some members are involved in ski patrols, the nordic rescue service and conserving our alpine parks and environments. In the summer months many of our members participate in other outdoor activities like mountain biking, bushwalking and canoeing.

Whether you are an experienced skier looking for friends to ski and socialise with, a novice interested in improving your skills or somewhere in between, skiing with a club is fun, it offers a chance to learn new skills, meet new skiing friends and try new types of skiing (and it can save you a lot of money!)
