Welcome to the Melbourne Nordic web site. Our club is built around the activities of it's members, who range from novice skiers to elite racers. Members participate in a broad range of ski activities including trail-skiing, snow-camping and back country skiing, racing and ski orienteering. Some members are involved in ski patrols, the nordic rescue service and conserving our alpine parks and environments. Club activities, including lessons, cater for all levels of skiing experience. We especially welcome first-time skiers. If you're not yet a member, have a look at the Welcome page to find out more about our Club - who we are, and why we're here. Why not drop into a meeting and have a chat with some of us? We usually have a speaker on skiing or a related topic. To see what trips and events we have planned for this ski season, check out the Events Calendar. More detailed information on any of the trips and events, can be found in the various Activities pages. We haven't done it yet, but we'll gradually put up some reports on recent Club Trips, so you can see what adventures we get up to! Meantime, ask for a copy of our monthly newsletter, Crosswords, which regularly includes reports on the latest trip/s. |

Victoria has kilometres of nordic trails, suitable for all styles of cross country skiing.
Club meetings are held monthly from May to October, from 8:00pm.
