Grading of Trips
Easy - Recommended for first-time cross-country skiers, with skiing only on gentle slopes and groomed trails and possibly some instruction, depending on the trip, group and other circumstances.

Medium - Recommended for those with some previous experience and skill in cross-country skiing, with skiing in backcountry as well as groomed trails.

You should expect steeper slopes and more varied terrain, and are expected to be able to execute basic snowplough turns and stops.

Hard - Recommended only for those capable of travelling over 20km a day off trail and in varied terrain, and in some cases, with a heavy pack.

All - A ski day suitable for all skill levels, typically involving some instruction.
