New Online Booking Service for 2008
Our new online booking service for 2008 is up and running for trip and lesson registration, accommodation bookings, car pooling and renewal of memberships? Online Booking Area Please follow the booking instructions on the web page. The new booking system is basic but we think it is efficient. We are trialing our new system, and feedback is welcome. The new online booking system is designed to reduce the workload of our volunteer accommodation officer. We strongly encourage you to use it, or to book at our club meetings!! On this page, you'll find information on booking for club weekends and trips: Non-Members Trips are open to members and non-members. We invite non-members to try one of our ski weekends or ski trips before joining the club. Club Charges Generally, the club charges no fees for ski tours. Charges do apply for accommodation, ski races and other events. Please confirm all details with the leader before booking, as prices may be subject to change. Non members are expected to pay $10 extra on those weekends when free group lessons are provided. Extra costs include: Bookings We welcome all new members and visitors. Members and visitors should book with the leader of the trip and discuss any relevant matters before undertaking an activity. A great way to find out more about the trip is by speaking to the leader at a club night. Trip Leaders' phone numbers are available to all members, and can be obtained either at a club night or from a member of the Executive Committee. Transport Members travel to the snow using their own cars. Car-pooling is often organised by the accommodation officer or the trip leader. We encourage car-pooling. Day trips are organised during the week and on weekends. For weekend trips, people typically depart Friday evenings and return on Sunday evenings. The Club has a cost-sharing policy for the use of another member's car. Insurance We encourage members to take out private insurance for property damage, personal injury, health care costs and especially ambulance cover. |
